  4. Was watching a memorial day movie today with my husband &saw a secretary using old fashioned shorthand. It made me think of my first job working for Attorney Philip Wagner. So I googled his name& sadly saw his obituary. I was a senior in high school at St. Bernardines in San Bernardino (1971).
I knew he was an alumni& that he gave opportunity for part-time student training. I loved that job& all those who worked there. I will always be grateful for that 1st job opportunity!….i was 18& now 65 living in Oregon, an advocate for disabled& activist for caregivers.
I will always remember the professionalism & mentorship of Philip Wagner’s law firm that helped shape my future interests. He was a great boss and undoubltedly missed by many.
