Peter Thomas Stevenson entered the gates of heaven on July 31, 2022. He passed away peacefully as his family surrounded him with love.

Pete was born on August 15, 1936 to Alex and Molly Stevenson in New York. He married the love of his life Joan Spies in 1960 and they were happily married for 61 years!

Pete enjoyed a wonderful life with his family and friends. He was a devout Catholic and loved holidays and being with his family. He loved sports with a special fondness and passion for Notre Dame football, UCLA basketball, and Angels baseball. He thrilled us all with his announcing of Santa Margarita High School football games for many years.

Pete is survived by his wife Joan, daughters Julie Bettwy, Mary Lane, Jennifer and Jeanette Stevenson, sons Tim, Sean, Kenny and Kevin Stevenson, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Vigil Service will be held on Sunday, August 14 at 7:00 pm at O'Connor Mortuary Chapel, 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. Please wear Notre Dame, Angels, or UCLA attire.

Mass services will be held on Monday, August 15 at 10 am at San Francisco Solano Church, 22082 Antonio Pkwy, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life reception at Ballpark Pizza, 28813 Los Aliso Blvd, Mission Viejo, CA 92692. Friends and family are invited to attend.
