  1. Pete was a wonderful person and supervisor. He always had a smile and great attitude….balancing what was best for both the customer and for our company. The Fullerton, CA Inside Sales staff had a lot of fun working for and with Pete. Especially when for Boss’s Day, we decorated his VW bug, tied cans to the exhaust pipe, and put a dummy in the drivers seat. I can still hear his laughter. Pete made an impact on all of us and will always be remembered with fondness and appreciation.

    To the Van Deudekom family,
My deepest condolences. I had the distinct privilege of working with Pete since our American Can days. He had a special kindness that made everyone feel comfortable when he was around. Just a few short weeks ago, I ran into him at Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta and we had a wonderful chat about the ‘good ole days’ and traded some great stories. I will surely miss him.

My prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
