   I miss my one and only Grandfather. He was there when our other grandfather turned his back on us. With open arms he loved my sister and I very much. I was proud of him for everything that he has Accomplished. I was very lucky to have the opportunity to say goodbye. I will you miss you Papa Pete. Love your 1st granddaughter Kimmie.

   Papa Pete – You have touched so many lives, including my own. When we first met, I was intrigued by how you dealt with such a difficult and challenging childhood. Yet you did, all on your own. You should be very proud of yourself, Papa Pete. You made your own loving family with the Love of Your Life, Tess, and three daughters, all of whom you cared for and loved very much. I will miss our sharing of life stories, your advice of wise words or your playful teasing of me, aka – as Chatterbox. 🙂 You made me feel so welcomed and loved which I am ever so grateful to know what that felt like, from You and Tess.    Uncle Pete,
   Thanks for always having an open door as I would drop in on you and Aunt Tess with no notice on my trips to CA in the college days. Loved spending time with you always and also the later visits with my family. I know you and Aunt Tess are enjoying your time together.
