Obituary

THE DAY GOD CALLED YOU HOME

God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon His earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered, ‘Peace be thine.’
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

  1. Dear Sandy, Florian, and family,

We are so saddened to hear that you are grieving for your father. We have not had to endure that experience yet but know it will be a difficult time. We pray that God will give you strength, guidance, and peace during the days to come as you remember your father. We will be praying for you as the service approaches.
    All our love,
    John and Toni Ain

  3. Tio, we will miss you very much. I Renee have nothing but happy memories of you as I grew up from childhood to adult. You were like my second father. You never were unkind, only loving to me. You always had a happy face. God love you as I’m sure he does. I will never forget you, because you were so special. We all love you and will miss you very much.

  4. On behalf of the immediate family of Terry Lucero Uncle Pete’s sister- please know that you are all in our thoughts & prayers.

I am Terry’s grandaughter Eva’s daughter. The memories are countless – I especially remember the family gatherings at Abuelita’s house on the hill, “the shop”, and kids everywhere. Uncle Pete was especially funny, kind, & always had a smile on his face.

I always felt welcomed & loved when my grandma took me to visit her brothers & sisters.
Those memories helped me be a mom & now grandma of 4 – My heart is heavy.
