Obituary

Pauline Frances Kessler, 92, loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend died on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. She was born in 1923 in Forbes, Missouri, to Henry and Mary (Prussman) Spreckelmeyer. She married Roy Kessler, Sr. in 1944, at London Heights Methodist Church in Kansas City, Kansas.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years Roy Kessler, Sr., and brothers Donald and William Spreckelmeyer. She is survived by her two children: Connie Vedomske (wife of Cy Vedomske) of Lake Forest, California, and Roy Kessler, Jr. (husband of Liz Kessler), of Willis, Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Stacey (Vedomske) Faris of Las Vegas, Nevada, Shannon (Vedomske) Schmitt of Carlsbad, California, Valerie (Kessler) Dunmire of Spring, Texas, Matthew Kessler of Houston, Texas, and Brett Vedomske of Valencia, California. In addition, Pauline is survived by eight great grandchildren.

Pauline was a long time member of Mission Viejo Christian Church. She loved the Lord, and always did her best to instill that love into her family, who were the greatest source of blessing and joy to her.

A visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, January 7, at the O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, followed by a memorial service at 10:00 am. Interment will be at El Toro Memorial Park, adjacent to Roy Kessler, Sr. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
