Paul Jay
Pamer
Apr 29, 1959 — Aug 7, 2026
Paul Jay Pamer, 67, quietly passed away August 6, 2026.
Paul, better known by his friends and family as Jay, was born in Akron, Ohio, on April 28, 1959. As a young boy, Jay, and the Pamer family, moved to Southern California, where he would reside as a proud resident for the duration of his life.
Jay earned his living as a true-blue collar worker, with a skill set in HVAC, plumbing, and all things “construction”. As a young man, he lived his working days repairing and building homes for young families; which, included the houses of family and friends.
As a young father, Jay instilled his love for fishing, camping, and baseball, into his three children, resulting in the birth of traditions that would span more than two decades. Jay, and a young Pamer family, would enjoy frequent fishing trips along the Pacific Coast in Mexico and Dana Point, and annual end-of-summer camping trips in Santa Barbara. A family favorite, Jay would go on to adopt and extend the tradition of holding season tickets for the Los Angeles Angels, which had been originally established by Jay’s late-father, Paul John Pamer.
A devoted Father, and loving Grandfather, Jay fostered his unceasing work ethics and values in his eldest daughter, two sons, and young grandson.
