Obituary
Shepard, Paul, 56, joined our Heavenly Father on January 26, 2010. Paul was a lifelong resident of O.C. and served his community for 30 years as a Police Sergeant with Anaheim P.D. Retirement for Paul meant golden opportunities to play baseball and fish with his two young sons, Ryan and Eric, and work part-time as Lake Supervisor at Lake MissionViejo. Family time was important to Paul. Paul was a man of honor and was a great role model as a father, husband and friend. He is sorely missed.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Linda nee Van Eck of 17 years; his sons, Ryan 13 and Eric 7; his mother, Virginia Shepard; his loving in-laws, brother and numerous friends.
Visitation at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills on Sun., Jan. 31: 4-8p.m. and Mon., Feb.1: 5-9p.m. Rosary at 7:30p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Tues., Feb. 2 at 10:30a.m. at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church in Mission Viejo. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Orange County Boy Scouts of America.

I know there isn’t anything I can say that makes your loss less painful; I hope all of the expressions of love from family and friends console you and give you comfort.

With love from the Donoghue Family. We got to know and love Paul after my Uncle Bill Donoghue Ana.PD introduced us.
