Patricia M. Nelson, 54, of San Juan Capistrano died May 9, 2004 pf Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. She is survived by her husband, Chuck; daughter, Nicole; and brothers, Richard Messerschmidt, Eric Messersmith and Robert Messersmith. A vigil is scheduled at 7:30 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2004 at the Mission Basilica, San Juan Capistrano. Funeral Mass is at 12:00 Noon, Monday, May 17, 2004 at the Mission Basilica. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Patty Nelson's memory to the Joseph Schneiders Foundation for CJD Research, 16727 Manning Tree Lane, Spring, Texas 77379.
