FUTURES – I am sorry you past away. You were a great job coach. You’re so kind and so lucky you helped Nicholas Gugert – FUTURES

  2. When I first started FUTURES, Patti told me that I will be fine once I got bus trained. I was so scared to be bus trained, but Patti got me over my fears. We miss u so much. God will take care of u. – Quinn Sneddon

I had a love hate relationship with Patti. I absolutely loved her for the impact she had on my son, Collin. He remembers every detail about Patti and they are all positive comments, thoughts, and memories. I hated Patti when I saw her at the gym….there she was, endless long legs, beautiful curly hair, gorgeous face, on the elliptical looking like it was effortless!! Oh I was so jealous of her!! Patti is a beautiful woman, inside and out. I have been blessed to have known her. Words cannot describe how she made my son the man he is today…to have someone in his life whom he completely trusted is a testament to the woman Patti was, especially to her students. What an incredible woman. Love, love, love her. Nancy Wilkey

As a single guardian parent of a special needs nephew, I was so blessed by Patti’s heart & service towards her students at Futures. Young people going through adolescence & passing into adulthood is already hard as can be, but for those with special needs, it is rifed with insecurities & angst. Patti was amongst some great teachers who made that rite of passage a bit more loving & kind for Kevin, my nephew.

She not only taught him life skills or independent living skills, but gave him compassion & care. Her love & support all point to giving special needs people the dignity that we all deserve as beautiful image bearers of God. Patti’s kindness & support have confidence & security to her students, including Kevin.

As a parent, Patti was an angel who helped raise many important people in our community. She was always flexible & supportive of me as well.

Steve, Chris & Josh, I do not know you all really. But I want you to know that your Mom & wife made a world of difference in my & Kevin’s life. I will be forever grateful for her influence in Kevin’s life. I am praying for you all as you continue to grief the passing of Patti. She lived a great life & I know she would want you all to continue in her legacy. Her legacy lives on in my family. And I thank God for her & your family. Praying for all of you in the days ahead. Praying for Jesus to comfort & give hope to you as only He can. You are an amazing family.
    Blessings,
    Margaret Yu (Kevin Yu’s aunt)
