Patricia A. Fujimoto

Our beautiful and loving mother, Patricia Anne Fujimoto ("Patti"), passed away on August 1, 2022 and joined her husband of 62+ years, Harold Fujimoto ("Fuji"), bringing them together again.  Patti was born on September 9, 1942 and grew up in Owensboro, Kentucky. Although she grew up in a small town, she married young and ended up traveling the world as a proud Army Officer's wife. She always found a way to build a loving home for her family no matter where they were stationed, and also found time to volunteer to help others through the Red Cross and numerous school activities. Patti and Fuji settled down in Laguna Niguel, California in 1986 and spent the rest of their lives there, with their two daughters and two grandsons living nearby and being part of each other's everyday lives.  Patti was a kind and compassionate soul who defined the meaning of unconditional love.  All who met her loved her instantly and deeply, as she did them. Despite lifelong health challenges, she persevered with optimism and love. Her strength was truly unparalleled.  The world was a much better place with her in it.  Patti is survived by her daughters, Tamiko Fujimoto and Michelle Fujimoto Porter; her grandsons, Dalton Porter and Ethan Porter; her large extended family in Owensboro, Kentucky; and friends near and far.  Her love will always be felt and she will be missed by all.
