Obituary

Patricia Dean Worrell was born October 21, 1942, to Melvin and Dorthea Worrell in Burlington, New Jersey. She was born to sparkle and always ready to plan a great party, but only if she could spend the night dancing. Grandma had the perfect outfit for every occasion and couldn't help but look glamorous.

Patty Dean was an only child and found her true sister in her cousin Sharon. She spent most of her childhood in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Her days were filled with dance classes and piano lessons. As Sharon would say "she could bang out a couple tunes".  Her favorite times were spent with cousin Sharon at Aunt Connie's.

She had three wonderful sons whom she adored, Robert, Richard and Michael. She loved being a mom, and LOVED her boys. But found her true calling as a grandma. She was blessed with her first grandchild in 1981 followed by eight more over the years. She adored her grandkids, all nine of them. Her whole life was playing, dressing up, and spending time with her grandkids. In 2011 she was blessed with her first great-grandchild and found a whole new generation to spoil and adore. She had nine great grandchildren who loved "GG."

Pat found the love of her life in Gerry Davidson. They married in 1992 in Carmel by the Sea. Together they traveled the world. Her favorite trip was a transatlantic crossing from Southhampton to New York on the QEII. They ate at the best restaurants,  enjoyed charity events and raising money for the diabetic foundations. They settled in southern California and built her dream house overlooking the ocean.

She was generous to anyone and everyone. This required a lot of shopping and with Trish shopping was a competitive sport. She was a loving person full of warm hugs to distribute to anyone in need. You never had to worry about how she felt, she would tell you she loved you each and every day. Her faith in God guided her through the difficult times and gave her continual hope and comfort. She is survived by her sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her terribly. However, we know if you need a dose of grandma, stop by the mall and enjoy the scent of Opium by Yves Saint Laurent.

Love you to the moon and back grandma.
