Patricia peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Hollywood, California, graduated from Whittier College, and earned her Masters Degree from U. C. Berkeley. She had long-term interests in genealogy and local Orange County history. She served for years as Docent at the Howe-Waffle House and the Irvine Historical Society Museum. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lester William Bunning; her three children, David William Bunning, Jonathan Bruce Bunning, and Anne Catherine Slater; and her seven grandchildren, John William Morris Bunning, Michael Patrick Morris Bunning, Brenda Jo Banfill, James William Bunning, Thomas Richard Bunning, Laura Elizabeth Slater, and David Mark Slater.
