Obituary

Mrs. Patricia Hadjibabaie, age 66, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at her home in San Clemente, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Lorinda Olson, and older brother, Allen. Pat is survived by her devoted husband of over 37 years, Farhad Hadjibabaie; her siblings: Greg (Joan) Olson of Philadelphia, PA, Clark Olson of Sparta, MI, and Marcia (Hidetoshi) Kawashima of Tochigi, Japan; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.

Pat will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her loyal friendship, and, most of all, her unfailing kindness. Her favorite hobby and greatest talent was helping others. In addition, she loved watching the hummingbirds in her garden, reading her Bible while curled up in her favorite chair, and traveling with her husband to visit family and friends all over the world.

Interment of Pat’s ashes will be on Sunday, March 11, at the Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, CA.  A gathering to celebrate her life will follow at the nearby Strawberry Farms Golf Club’s Big Red Barn in Irvine.  Additional memorial celebrations honoring Pat will take place in her hometown of Sparta, Michigan, in July.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider joining us in donating in Pat’s memory to the International Society for Children with Cancer (ISCC).  We will have individual envelopes at the Celebration of Life for anyone who would like to add their gift to the one we will be making to the ISCC in Pat’s name.  If you are unable to join us on March 11, but would like to make a donation to the ISCC in memory of Pat, please follow the links to the donation page on their website.   https://iscc-charity.org
