Patricia Eileen Agortsas, 61, of Mission Viejo, California, took her place with the Lord on July 10, 2011. She passed away at Mission Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on February 20th 1950 in Los Angeles, California, Patty was the middle child of the late John and Lillian Ryan. Patty spent her youth and was raised in Venice, California.

Patty married her second husband, George Agortsas, in Redondo Beach. They met while working at Hughes Aircraft and united in matrimony in 1986. George survives her.

Patty was a devoted and loving mother to her three sons Ryan, Matthew and Alexander. She worked tirelessly to provide for them and there wasn't a thing she would not do for them. Her zest for life lives in them and she will always be proud of them.

Patty is also survived by her brother John Ryan of Venice, CA and sister Kathy Tichy of Mission Viejo, CA and granddaughter, Ryan Toledo.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 16th at St. Kilian Catholic Church at 10am in Mission Viejo. Patty Agortsas will be interred at Pacific View Cemetery in Corona Del Mar, CA.
