Pasqualino "Pat" Paone, age 86, of Lake Forest, CA passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 after a valiant fight with Parkinson's disease.  He was born in Tiriolo, Italy and came to the United States (Niagara Falls) with his parents when he was 5 years old.  He was the son of Louis and Maria (Rotella) Paone.

He graduated from Niagara Falls Hight School and enlisted in the Navy after graduation.  Pat served his country doing 2 tours of duty during the Korean War.  After Pat's honorable discharge he returned to Niagara Falls, NY and worked for one year before attending Michigan State University where he graduated with an Electrical Engineering degree.  Upon graduation he went to work in St. Louis, MO with McDonnell Aircraft.  From there he was transferred to Holloman AF Base where he met his wife, Aurora.  They were married 57 hears.  Pat worked in the Aerospace Industry for 39 years.  During that time he worked on the Mercury, Gemini and Hexagon Programs.  While working on those projects he also managed to earn a Masters Degree from USC.

After his retirement, he enjoyed bowling and playing boccie with his friends.  He also loved gardening and would spend hours in the yard.

Beloved husband of Aurora "Rody" Paone, father of Michael (Nancy), Sandra and Eddie.  Pat is also survived by his brother Louis (Elsa) Paone of Henderson, NV, several nieces and nephews, and friends.
