I met Jeannie when she came for holistic treatment in Santa Barbara. I felt an instant connection to her, she is and was a sweet angel, the warmth and kindness of her spirit shinned through her, even when she spoke, she had a gentleness about her that you could feel in your heart!
We became friends. She warmed the room as she entered, she has earned her angel wings! Soar beautiful angel, soar! You are now free!
I told her about when my mom passed, how I had her resuscitated, though she was on an order not to resuscitate. When she came back, my mom said to me, “I Love You Gina, but please let me go home!” She knew she was going to a great place! Jeannie wrote to me how that comforted her! Jeannie too knew she was going to a beautiful place as well!
I’m told she said, “I hear Jesus calling me!”
Bless her on her journey! Love you Jeannie! XO

I met Jeannie in our Bible Study Fellowship class. Immediately it was like we knew each other forever. She was just so warm and genuine, beautiful inside and out. We had great talks every week about life, love, work, her sisters and nephew who she adored, and about how knowing Jesus makes all the difference. I will certainly miss her and am comforted knowing I will see her again when Jesus calls me. What a sweet gift of hope for her to be saying at the end that she heard her Savior’s voice calling her.
Thank you to her sisters for sharing that precious moment with us.

  3. I met Jeannie in our Bible study. Her love for the Lord, for the study of His word and the application of it to her life was evident. I think of quiet strength and deep wisdom when I think of Jeannie. I also think of kindness, compassion and gentleness. Sounds like the fruit of the Spirit, doesn’t it?
I’m so glad that I was able to have some time with Jeannie. She was a gift. You were safe and loved with her. There was a joy & lightness in her… confidence in who she was and Whose she was. She contributed to our small group with few words but all of them kind and on point. She was always ready to give a big hug, laugh, and also take the time to listen and encourage. I saw her many times staying after study to talk with someone, listening, praying…serving them.
I miss Jeannie already, but her impact on my life and the lives of so many others will remain forever. It is so hard to put into a few words the beauty that was and is Jeannie.

  4. I will miss my friend Jeannie, who I had the privilege to share time with. We both enjoyed the violin and we once attended a symphony. We also shared a love for our Savior and worshiped at the same church and many dinners wirh our friends the Trauffers. She will be missed but will see her one day in Heaven.

I knew a very different Jeannie. One who would call and say “wanna get an In-N-Out”? Or have the 3 hour breakfast at Mimi’s. And xhe never turned down any reason to go to Brighton! I will miss you, Jeannie. I’m glad you are at peace now. You did it your way.
