Obituary

Mrs. Nirmla Gupta, 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Irvine, California on August 26, 2020.  A doting wife and mother who was devout in her faith, she enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; sharing her love of cooking with her family and friends, tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, playing bridge and traveling. She touched all who knew her with her giving spirit, beautiful smile and warm hugs.

Nirmla leaves behind her loving husband of 65 years, Sumant K. Gupta; her adoring children, Shashi Kumar (Mukul), Renu Chhabra (Ajay), Sunil Gupta (Lisa), and Devon Gupta; her grandchildren, Neel (Erica), Vijay (Undrea), Monica (Jon), Nathan, Nick, Raj and Krish; and her great-grandchildren Cameron, Mya, and Kai. Her never-ending devotion to her family and her resilience in the face of many difficult health struggles in recent years have inspired us all. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.
