Hi Alisha-
Only having known Nicole for a few days, the sense of loss is bigger than I ever imagined. I would love to get her myspace name to view her comments as she started working with our company or just a copy. She seemed to excited and so happy. We shared in her excitement.
When Diane met her on Thursday, she said “I found her. You need to meet with her – when can you meet her soon? I don;t want to lose her”
I said “tomorrow at 11:30AM”, which was Friday. I met her in Irvine. “Such a tiny little lady and such a large truck” was my first impression. She must be a force!
I had her tour our largest client main facility not something I would normally do before hiring someone, but I was instantly comfortable with her. We then had lunch at Claim Jumper. She had the BBQ chicken salad and we split a dessert. She said she liked spicy food and sushi. I knew we had hit it off right out of the gate. She spoke of the Nick and what driving force he was in inspiring her and how happy she had been since she had met him. Never happier. I made her the offer, and she accepted as we shared dessert.
I thought ” what a firecracker” she will add an incredibly fun dynamic in the office. I like to laugh and it was clear she did as well.
It’s so hard to get closure and a sense of peace. She left us wanting more. Nick, my door and phone is always open to you. Alisha and Gary, we are very pained by your great, great loss. Let us know if we can do anything.

We were so saddened to hear of the Nikki’s sudden death and our hearts are breaking for the both of you. Even though our paths crossed so briefly back in the Bent Tree neighborhood in Agoura, we will forever cherish our memories of your sweet, beautiful Nikki. Memories of our gatherings in the Millers’ backyard, enjoying more than our share of fun & games & laughs which included way too many water fights!! and getting to share our beautiful young daughters together. Nikki, Carly & Taylor…they were quite a threesome!! Even though we did not get the pleasure to watch Nikki grow into the lovely young woman she had become, we will forever feel connected with her and you through our memories.
We pray that you both find strength through this unthinkable tragedy and hope that, in time, you will find comfort in your memories.
Love,
The Goudreau Family
