    Gary, Jeannie and Alisha,

My fondest memories of Nicole were at Christmas time every year with Grandma and Grandpa Rogers. I will always cherish the moments we shared. Nicole was a beautiful girl with a great smile.

I pray that God is with you in your pain and loneliness and will give you strength. “God is the Father who is full of mercy and all comfort. He comforts us every time we have trouble, so when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

  2. Gary, Jeannie, Katie and Bree,

We are so saddened to hear about Nicole. The loss of a child is something that no parent should ever have to experience and is undoubtedly the toughest thing that a parent can face. We have shed those tears that you are having now.

We did not know Nicole as well as an aunt and uncle should have, perhaps, but we enjoyed the times we spent together as family … lots of tacos at Grandma D’s and even smelly houseboats on the lake!

Your love for Nicole has always been pure and obvious … and your patience in the tough times is admirable. Our Lord has comforted Nicole and will comfort all of you today and in the coming days, weeks, months and years. Keep your focus on Him, on each other, and on your memories of Nicole – that is where the blessings are! ;-

See you later in the week … virtual hug <> <> <> <> for all of you.

    Dear Alisha,
It’s been many years, but the sweet memories of our daughters as young girls will always be with us. The wonderful tea parties with their American Girl dolls and the fun times we shared. I’m so sorry for your tremendous loss. Never stop thinking of Nicole….keep her beautiful memory alive in everything you do. We will never forget…….

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the gift of His peace live always in your hearts. Our fondest memories of Nicole will always be her contageous laughter that we had the priveledge of sharing with her.

    Dear Alisha,
We only met Nicole 2 mos ago … just in the nic of time. How one person can have such an impact on ones life is simply unbelieveable and incredibly lucky. We loved her before we met her, and we feel your loss with all our hearts.
We love you too… with all our hearts.
Thank you for peeking out for Maria. She was concerned about you. A flower was dropped from one of Nicole’s arrangements, and Maria took it home and put in water. It sits by the sink.
Nicole is already hard at work in heaven send out little signs.

    Love you,
    Bert Maria Bruce
