Obituary
Nargish Khushrow Dastur, aged 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19th 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born in India on August 1st, 1941; daughter of Piroja and Jehangir Sadri. She was the second child of four, a brother Jimmy and two sisters, Arnavaz and Freny. She married her husband, Khushrow Dastur at a young age of 18 and after having her children, she dedicated her entire life to her family as a homemaker.
She loved running her household and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, stitching and was a great teacher. Her amazing cooking will be very fondly remembered by both her children and grandkids.
She was the glue of our family and a pillar of strength for all of us. She, in turn, taught her children the importance and value of family and ensured they too were always there for each other in good times and otherwise. Her love knew no bounds and she embraced everyone around her with her kindness even if they weren’t immediate family or friends.
She is survived by her children Yazdi, Pouroochisti, Khurshid, William, Khushnum and Mitesh; her grandkids Ryan, Jennifer, Daryus, Rohan, Aanya and Ayaan; her brother Jimmy, her sister-in-law Freny; her nephews, Dasturji Khurshedji, Urmez and nieces Zenobia, Farzana and Jennifer.
She will be greatly missed and her precious memories will live on forever in our hearts.
The funeral will take place at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills, CA 92653 on Thursday June 22nd, at 10:00 am. If you would like to send flowers, please send them to our residence at 24334 Mornington Dr., Valencia, CA 91355.
