Nancy Karen Clark

Nancy Karen was born in Yakima Washington February 7, 1938 to Frank Jeanette (Cummer) and Clarence Olaf Locken. With her loving family by her side, Nancy passed July 6, 2014 in Laguna Hills California.

Nancy is survived by her elder brother David. Children Gregory (wife Linda), Steven, Karen, William (wife Chelsea) and Jeffrey (wife Kristina). Grandchildren Cassie, Andrew, Allison, Matthew, Lauren, Nicholas, Olivia and Griffin. Great Grandchildren Presley, Easton and Mason.

Nancy graduated from Dorsey High in Los Angeles in 1956. Soon after, she married Gene Cox and immediately started a family that quickly grew with the birth of Gregory Gene, Steven Jon and Karen Diane. Nancy married Bill Noble in 1965 and soon thereafter welcomed her 4th and 5th child with the birth of William Leighton, Jr. (Buddy) and Jeffrey Guy. In later years Nancy married George Clark (deceased) and shared their life together until his passing.

Nancy was a gregarious, funny, charming, talented, giving, beautiful, courageous, strong and loving soul who sought nothing more in this life than to spend time with her family and friends; share in their joys and pains and always provide a warm embrace, soothing words when needed most and a place all could call home.

The greatest joy of her life was undoubtedly her beautiful grandchildren. Every aspect of her life revolved around them. She was an amazing grandmother who could never get enough of loving her babies and have that love reciprocated in way it seems only a grandchild can.

A gorgeous woman, Nancy took great pride in her appearance, that of her children, grandchildren and her home. She had an outfit for every occasion as well as the requisite accessories. Her penchant/obsession for decorating, shopping and meticulous cleaning habits were widely recognized Nancy trademarks.

Nancy loved all types of music, especially Country Western. She loved to sing (at the top of her lungs), dance and seize any opportunity to be in the spotlight.. that was Nancy's charm. She lit up and commanded every room into which she gracefully strode. With her gift-of-gab, quick wit, intelligence, engaging smile, inviting eyes and unmistakable natural beauty, Nancy was always the Belle-of-the-Ball, just as she was always meant to be.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

If we all could love as big as Nancy, the world would be a better place.

Nancy's life will be celebrated July 18, 2014 at O'Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills and laid to rest at El Toro Memorial Park, Lake Forest, California.
