  1. The last time we saw Mom was on July 20, 2010. She came to our house with Kelly. My memory about her is that she always had a beautiful smile and well dressed when she went out to meet friends.
We will miss her and our prayers go to all her family members. Blessings,
    Thomas & JoAnne

  2. In 1963,with a new set of Aviator Wings, a new silver bar Ltjg and a new wife, I checked into my first Fighter Squadron – VF-102. Then Commander Sullivan and his most lovely wife, Lucky, became our first Commanding Officer team. What a great way to start a Naval Aviation career!! They taught us well. Tom Davis, Captain, U.S. Navy Ret.

  3. This is a poem our dear friends Cyd Cerretti and Lucille Rizzo who knew both Lucky & Sully well from their years in Hawaii had commissioned for our mother.

    Here it is:
    She was everybody’s favorite
Lucky along with Sully, life of the party, laughing with life, great laugh.

She put herself together with flair and verve, knit together a family that grew to friends and families of friends.

Sailing, traveling the roads of the continent, it was all of a piece, avid pursuits.
How do you measure a life’s worth but by pleasure shared and received? Hers was rich.

Still cutting a stylish figure Lucky stands alone in the end lending us greatness by example.

  4. Mrs. Sullivan was such a lovely, godly lady. Although I only recall meeting her once, I feel I knew her well through Rik and Nicki. What a privilege it has been to pray for her and see the Lord gently take her home. The legacy of a life well-led will surely impact her wonderful family and friends.

  5. Larry and I have enjoyed many years of close friendship with Lucky and Sully. We traveled together, lived together, laughed and yes cried together. Their passing is a great loss to the Navy community and to us. But the fond memories will live on!
