Surrounded by her family, Monica Palisoc Salangad, 84, of Mission Viejo, CA died September 8, after a long struggle with cancer.

Monica was born on September 4, 1935 in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan, Philippines to Nicanor and Demetria Palisoc.

She is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, Digna and Rick Cohen, Esther and Daniel Kobata and Cindi and Rick Reyes, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

She was a devoted Catholic who enjoyed shopping, traveling, exercising at the Senior Center and country line dancing.

Monica will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
