10 years. A whole decade. Would you have stayed with FNL for this long if the circumstances were different. Maybe had kids that I would grow up adoring. Impart continuous wisdom and sound advice when I need you the most. You still have the biggest impact on me and miss you so. Each year doesn’t get easier. Love and miss you always.

I truly.miss you the most. I will always love you.

    Dear Monica.

I miss you. 3 months ago, I lost a dear friend in a fatal car accident and feel the same void I feel when I miss you. She was a beautiful soul. She saw the best in everyone, was a light in many people’s life, and carried the weight of the world. I think I especially miss her because she wasn’t here to celebrate my birthday with me for the first time. I hope you both have met, because she sure is an amazing person, like you! I wish I had a place where I could say these words to you. Until then, love and miss you.

    Upendo.

Hi Moni- Hard to believe you have been gone so long. But as we said, we will never forget you. We are in Ohio to meet our new great niece, Petra. Joey and Elizabeth had their first baby. She is 4-months-old and super cute. We will make sure and let her know all about her auntie Monica. We will love you forever and always miss you but so happy for the memories and the wonderful mark you left on each of our lives. Until we meet again in heaven. With all my love and all my heart

Year 11. I was reading some of the GB signings that have been left to you dear Monica and everything people say still resonates on the wonderful mentor you were to me. Thank you for being that voice in my head to encourage, empower, and remind me to always do my best, never give up, and to love me first. For never forgetting what I can bring to the table, that the sky has no limit, and that I am capable ten times more than I believe in myself. I couldn’t have gotten through some binds without thinking of your words of wisdom and just that look you gave me when I was being ridiculous. Love you so much Monica and thinking of you always. Please take care of LB. It was definitely a blow losing another beautiful soul this year. Forever and always. Xoxo

    Upendo.
