Pretty Woman Monica: You will be terribly missed by all of us. Although we did not have a chance to get to know each other better like I wanted to do, your beautiful smiles, vibrant spirit, and your friendliness always lifted me up! The last time we crossed path, you told me, “I don’t know why but anytime I see you, I feel happy”. Well, Monica, the feeling was mutual.

You’re in a better place now my friend.

    Love.

Oh Monica, How much I miss you already and Love you so. I’ve known you for so long, over 10 years of being one of my closest and best mentors I have ever had. You have always cared so much about me and my life dreams and aspirations. Your love and dedication continue to shine through my accomplishments and successes. You were my Celine Dion and I can not help but still laugh and smile at the face you made when I called you that. I love you dearly and will always remember and never forget everything you taught me. You’re a true role model of advocacy and positive change. A true inspiration for courage, bravery, and strong will. Thank you for everything, if it wasn’t for all your hard work and dedication – I truly wouldn’t be where I am today. Because you loved me…

    Upendo, Cristy Chen
