Millie Mandala 89 of Laguna Woods died Tuesday, June 5, 2007.

My mother was a very sweet and gracious lady who carried herself with dignity and femininity. She had a warmth about her and made friends very easily.Throughout her life,she outpoured strength and wisdom.She had a beautiful and fulfilling life while she lived in California for the past 18 years. My mother loved music and dancing and up until her 84th birthday, she was still dancing!She also was very close to Jesus.He was her source for strength.Her passing on June 5th was extremely spiritual as the song “Because Of You” by Tony Bennett played continuously for hours.It was a spiritual phenomenon that a few of us got to witness and because of my mother, my life is now worth while. May she rest in eternal peace with all the angels, loved ones, friends and her best friend of all-Jesus! I will miss all the wonderful words of wisdom you used to say, I will miss the sparkle in your eyes every time you saw me, I will miss being with you every day as I was and I will miss your beautiful little face and warm smile.I love you so very much, Mom.
