Obituary

Mike was born on November 18, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA and passed away at his home in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA on July 5, 2014. He was the son of the late William G. Babeshoff and Jennie J. Kosaroff of McKinney, Texas. He is predeceased by his brother Steven and sister Nayda. He is the brother to William Babeshoff and his wife Joyce of Newport Coast, CA; brother-in-law to David Patapoff of McKinney, Texas, David Lawson and wife Louise of Norfolk, Mass., and Chris and Amy Lawson of Plymouth, Mass.

Mike shared a short but wonderful life with his wife Gail, and had recently returned from “a vacation of a lifetime” to the New England states and Texas. Upon returning from his trip he fell ill and was diagnosed with stage-4 cancer. He fought a short by courageous battle surrounded by his wife, children, mother, brother and sister-in-law, and many cousins, grandchildren, his aunt, and childhood best friend David Endo.

Mike leaves his loving wife Gail; daughter Amber Crosby and her husband Robert of Huntington Beach, CA; son Michael of Fullerton, CA; and daughter Nicole Azadian and her husband Shawn of Tustin, CA, and sons Jimmy Foley of Indio, CA and Michael Foley of Fort Worth, Texas. Mike is also survived by his grandchildren, Katherine, Luke, Rhegan, Donavon, Mason and Matthew.

Mike was employed by Precision Resource in Huntington Beach for many years. He enjoyed living in south Orange County and exploring new restaurants with his wife.

Mike was a kind and gentle man, loved by many friends and family. He will be missed by those who loved him.
