Michelle Rayne Slaught

Michelle Slaught was born in Long Beach, CA on July 25th, 1967, and returned to her loving God on July 19th 2024. Surrounded by her husband Danny Slaught, her two children (Tyler Nichol, 27, and Kiana Nichol, 24), her two stepchildren (Daniel R Slaught, 29, and Hayley E Slaught, 27) along with her three beautiful Doodles. Michelle was the second of three children to Francis and Carol Adlesh of Long Beach, CA. An older brother, Chris Adlesh, and younger brother, Francis (Rob) Adlesh. Michelle attended Lafayette Elementary School in Long Beach and then Saint Jerome Catholic School. Michelle and the family moved to Portland, Oregon, where she attended 7th & 8th grade at Saint Thomas Moore Catholic School. Michelle spent her freshman year at Saint Mary’s (all girls) Catholic School in Portland, Oregon, where she excelled on the softball team. When the family moved back to Southern California, she finished her junior and senior years at El Segundo High School. Michelle was an outstanding athlete on the girls’ varsity softball team along with playing on the Varsity volleyball team. Upon graduation, Michelle attended El Camino JC. Michelle worked at several upscale clothing stores, where she fell in love with clothing and fashion. Michelle found her true calling and career in the hospitality industry as an event planner. For over 20 years, she worked at Palos Verdes Country Club and was responsible for all weddings, special events and corporate events. She was recognized by her peers as the go-to planner. Michelle was recruited by Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, coordinating all of their corporate and special events. In 2011, Michelle retired from the hospitality industry to become a stay-at-home mom and developed a new career as an excellent chef and an extraordinary baker. In her spare time, Michelle found time to play golf with her beloved husband, Danny.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 17th 2024 at 2:00pm at The Church of the Nativity, 6309 El Apajo, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067.
