Obituary

Michelle Lee Alsko (66)
1946 Feb 11, 2013
Passed away in Mission Viejo, CA after a lengthy illness.

Michelle was born in Modesto, CA to Nora Lee McKeever and Martin Kenneth McGuire. She had two brothers, Martin Kenneth, Jr. and Robert McGuire who have all predeceased her.

Stan Alsko, Jr. found her to be bright, funny, lovely and they were married and “raised” several Yorkies over the 40 plus years they lived in Irvine. Stan went home to be with the Lord in 2010.

During those married years, filled with innumerable friendships, Michelle finished her B.A. in Linguistics at Cal State Fullerton, taught herself to play the piano and used that skill to play at her church where she also sang in the choir.

Bridge became her outlet and her passion; she was good, achieving the status of Bronze Life Master before disease and pain slowed her down. But the wonderful friends she made.

She taught ESL in her home for several years, as well as hosting a number of foreign students. To demonstrate further how sharp she was, she passed the California Real Estate exam on the first try.

Traveling for travel’s sake and to play bridge was a way of life for Michelle with her husband and numerous friends.

She loved her husband, her family, the numerous cousins, her nieces and nephews, her Goddaughter, her sisters and brothers-in-law, her many aunts and uncles and did I mention her friends?

She is already missed by her cousins Pat and Olen Baggett and Janel and Bill Clark; nephews Phil, Ray and Jeff Krawezyk, Dan, Marty and Shan McGuire, nieces Melissa, Sara and Amanda McGuire, In and Outlaws Roberta and Richie Krawezyk, Maggi McGuire Lessig and Roni Kay McGuire.

May she rest in peace.
