Obituary

In Loving Memory of
Michelle Kathleen Odell

It is with great sorrow to announce the departure of Michelle Odell, loving wife, daughter and friend to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Michelle was born in the year of our Lord December 14th, 1968, to Hannsjoerg Albert Eckert and Elfriede Ida Marie Eckert and grew up with her younger brother Brian Marc Eckert in Santa Ana/Tustin area of Orange County.

She leaves behind her husband of 27 years and her children: Jacqueline Michelle Odell, age 21, Katherine Michelle Odell, age 20, and Garrett Timothy Odell age 17. Michelle centered her life around raising her family and providing for her children. Raising her children provided abundant happiness, joy, entertainment, and love.

At age 27, Michelle married her loving husband Timothy John Odell at All Saints Episcopal Church in Riverside, California on April 19th, 1997. With the grace of God, Michelle and Timothy raised their family in Lake Forest, California from 2003-2023. Tim and Michelle were regular members of St. Matthews Church in Newport Beach, California where she was confirmed.

In early 2023 Michelle, her husband, son, and daughter sold their California properties to pursue a business opportunity in Tulsa, Oklahoma while her oldest daughter, Jacqueline remained in California.

Throughout her professional life, Michelle held several positions in the Human Resource profession specializing in general administration and recruiting. Over the past 15 years, Michelle developed very strong personal and professional relationships with her colleagues at a boutique consulting agency, HR Network. The relationships she established at HR Network were a source of great pride and personal, professional satisfaction.

Please join us in celebration of the blessings God has bestowed on us for the times with our beloved Michelle.

Michelle will always be the most precious friend I’ve ever had. She was beautiful inside and out and I miss her terribly. May God comfort all who knew and loved her, and may He hold her beautiful children close to His heart, comfort her family, and bring strength. Love to you Hans and Friede.
Michelle – some of my favorite memories with you are when we went to Calvary Chapel together. My heart is comforted knowing you knew and loved Jesus, and that I will see you again someday in the presence of our Savior. Love you forever, Mitchelley!! ❤️

Imagine living with a scream inside you
    And the scream is yours
    And nobody else hears it
    That is grief
Fly high with the Angels Michelle
You are and will always be sadly missed 🪽

Michelle – you were a beautiful soul, so kind and always sweet. After 15 years together, co-workers become family and you were an important part of the HRN family. I miss you terribly now and always will. You had a quiet spirit that drove you. I so admired your will and strength to get through some pretty tough times.

I hope you are in heaven dancing on clouds. I pray for peace and comfort to your family and friends who cared so much for you. Until we meet again…
