Michael L. Maggard passed away on Saturday, June 22, a day before his 67th birthday at his home in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.

He was born on June 23, 1946 to Lloyd and Vivian Maggard, in Louisville, Kentucky where he grew up with younger sister Jackie and younger brother Bobby, and where he met his wife, Belinda.

Mike spent his adult life in ministry, including organizing large crusades, serving as executive pastor, assisting with missions and relief work, and directing the efforts of a law firm in their service to hundreds of churches and their members.

Mike is survived by his wife of 46 years, Belinda; daughter Jennifer and her husband Mike Cobb; daughter Michelle and her husband Matthew Leeg; and three grandchildren, Tyler Michael and Katherine Michelle Cobb, and Aaron Michael Leeg. Michael is also survived by sister Jackie Crane of Sarasota, Florida; brother Robert Maggard of Santa Clara, California; and niece and nephew Melanie and Martin Crane, both of Louisville.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Mike Maggard will be held in the Chapel at Mariners Church in Irvine, Calif. on Saturday morning, July 6 at 9:00 am.
