Michael Dennis Cooney

August 14, 1955 - April 14, 2011

Michael was a great sports enthusiast. He was especially fond of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the USC Trojans, but he knew a lot about sports in general.

As you can see by the pictures, Michael loved to fish, and he truly loved his dog Wiley.

He had an unbelievable number of friends. They were from all age groups. Among the younger people, and there were many, he was known as ‘Cooney,’ ‘Uncle Mike,’ or just plain ‘Mike.’

Michael is survived by his sisters Jacqueline Huckleberry, Ellen Del Zell and Laura Trottier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews.

N I think cooney accidently hit full speed on his chair and totally caught the wickedest air clearing off the sidewalk n over a trash can …cooney was fine… N surprisingly laughing…..we all shared a good laugh with uncle mike n I’ll definitely miss my 2nd father…I wouldn’t be known quite so much as lala if it weren’t for him…one other thought …I remember when he made fun of me for stopping in the middle of the road while he was teaching me drive…..I told him I saw George!
