Michael was a great sports enthusiast. He was especially fond of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the USC Trojans, but he knew a lot about sports in general.

As you can see by the pictures, Michael loved to fish, and he truly loved his dog Wiley.

He had an unbelievable number of friends. They were from all age groups. Among the younger people, and there were many, he was known as 'Cooney,' 'Uncle Mike,' or just plain 'Mike.'

Michael is survived by his sisters Jacqueline Huckleberry, Ellen Del Zell and Laura Trottier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews.
