My grandfather was the heart and soul of our family. He was affectionate, passionate, and loved to cook. He was the most intelligent person I have met. A true student, he sought after information for the sake of personal fulfillment. His vast knowledge on any given subject was a source of inspiration which has influenced me to always ask questions and look for answers. He was truly a renaissance man. My grandparents had an amazing love story that strengthens in me the belief of true love and gives me hope. He was warm and funny and loved to tell stories and I loved to hear them, no matter how many times I’d heard them before. He took care of me with chicken soup and taught me to fish and draw. When I was a little girl, he used to hold me and tell me we’d take on the world. I’m trying grandpa. I miss and love you.
