Mert E. Feldmann, formerly of 303 Standish Drive, Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in Mission Viejo, CA.

A native of Syracuse, Mert was employed by the Addis Co. for 15 years working in the Crystal Room with Eugene Taddeo. She especially enjoyed assisting Eugene with dressing the models for numerous fashion events, including events to benefit the Corinthian Club and Syracuse Stage. She was a member of DeWitt Community Church.

Mert moved to Mission Viejo, CA following the loss of her husband of 44 years, Charles “Jack” J. Feldmann in 1988. She is survived by her daughter, Salli J. Franck of Norwich, NY; her son, John C. Feldmann of Ellicott City, MD; her daughter, Cindy A. Goodrich of Mission Viejo, CA; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Bernard H. Heinley of Mattydale, NY.

A memorial service will be held at the White Chapel Memory Gardens in Dewitt, NY, officiated by the Rev. Edwin F. Taylor, followed by a reception at The Craftsman Inn, Fayetteville, NY, in the late spring or early summer.
