  1. Agnes & I were so sorry to learn of the passing of Tita Dita. As we reminised about all the times we spent together, we wondered if we ever told her and all of you how grateful we are for taking us into your family. Tita Dita became our mom too. She (& all of you) provided a gathering place to plan our wedding. She welcomed our wedding guests into her home, and was a gracious host. She included us in family events as if we were her own kids, and welcomed us back each time we returned for a visit.

She will be missed by all of us. She is in our hearts and prayers, and we thank you all for sharing your mom with us.

    Peace to all of you,
    Jim, Agnes, Rachael & Alex

  2. Growing up in the Philippines, I would always look forward to Jan 1, the annual PADERON Clan Reunion. Aside from gifts from my Titos and Titas in the Philippines, the entire clan would always get something from Tita Dita. No matter how big or small, it is still special to us because as we Filipinos woulds say its “stateside” ( from the states ).

During our last reunion in 2011, Tita Dita along with Tito Carmelo, Tito Eddie among others came to the Philippines to attend our annual PADERON Clan Reunion. My encounter with Tita Dita was short but sweet. We have not met nor talk with each other for a long time but you can feel her love and sincerity.

I think a week after Tita left the Philippines, I received a message from Rizza or Cherry … “Hey Eggie you have a gift from Tita Dita” …. Here I am pushing 50 now , with a family, doing good, I suppose 😉 … and STILL got a gift from Tita Dita … I guess the act of sharing and loving is something that is innate with Tita ….

You will be missed Tita not for the gifts you have shared with us but the joy, the love and guidance you have shared with the PADERONs … Rest in Peace Tita 🙁

    Eggie Paderon
