  3. To: Bonnie,Sonia, and family,
You have my utmost sympathy and prayers. I thought on those morning when Melvin would invite me up with you all to have breakfast. He always cook those waffles for me. He knew I loved how he made them. You two would get such a laugh out of me eating his waffles. He will be missed and you,Sonia, and family are in my prayer. I always love to leave these words of comfort….Remember! God loved him more, but he yet lives; his spirit is alive in your hearts. Keep Jesus in your heart and live for Him, then you will see him again bye and bye. I love you all.
Your long time friend and neighbor

Vonnie, I will always remember meeting you and Melvin in Barstow, CA. He always made me laugh if I would see him in the commissary. He is the reason today my husband is in the Foreign Service. He gave him straight advice like a father wood. My heart goes out to you and Sonia. Always, Ann Rector
