Matthew F. Tracey was born in Los Angeles, CA Dec. 13, 1922 and died Dec. 5, 2007. He was the first child followed by 3 brothers, only one of which is still living, Joseph C. Tracey of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by his daughter Catherine Moore; granddaughters Dawn Moore and Dana Hancock; and his great-grandchildren Brittany, Erica, and Meriah. He was a gymnast, muscle beach guy, motorcyclist, and in many ways a man's man. He was active in community service, working in the juvenile system and also with the physically challenged. He had a scholarship to UCLA for gymnastics and attained 2 advanced degrees at Cal State Northridge in his 70s. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, 1/12/2008 at 1:00 p.m. at O'Connor Mortuary Chapel, Laguna Hills.
