Obituary

On November 24, 2020 Heaven gained one fine lady. Mary Fischbeck lived to be 93 years young and lived her life to its fullest, every last minute. Her spunky and fierce personality added a lot of light to her family and friends lives. When asked her what her greatest accomplishments were, her answer was her kids and her marriage. Between her eight kids, twenty-one grandkids, and nineteen great-grandkids, she had quite the fan club. But they were not just fans of hers, she was a fan of theirs. She went to every sports game, awards ceremony, graduation, and competition she could. They could always count on her to be cheering on the sidelines and dancing on the dance floor. They knew she would be there for them.  Mary’s actions were a testament to how much she loved and valued her family. And because of Mary and her love, Stanley, the Fischbecks will continue to value the meaningful traditions that Mary and Stan held so dearly.

Mary was persistent in living her best life, and did so to the very end. She was the only person who could decide what she would and would not do. In her 80s she traveled to Jerusalem, and even in her 90s she still walked with her friend every day, went camping, and attended family parties” always dressed to the nines of course.

Above many things, Mary was faithful. She lived peacefully and passionately, trusting God in all situations. She valued her faith and made it a priority in her life. We know she is sitting beside God right now, eating In-N-Out or german weenies with Stanley and playing cards.

Our lives will not be the same without her, but they are definitely better because of her. We love you mom, grandma, great-grandma Mary! See you soon.
