Obituary

Mary Michel Green, 65, San Clemente, died on March 27, 2022.

Mary was born in Texas to Corrine and Richard Green and moved to San Clemente where she attended Las Palmas Elementary School and San Clemente High School. She entered USC after her junior year of high school and continued her lifelong love of learning and political awareness.

An early onset of Rheumatoid Arthritis limited her physical movement but she never complained and worked for years as an adjustor for AAA. Her recent years in a wheel chair allowed her to follow her passion for ‘wheelchair gardening’ as she called her work with succulents

Mary was an avid internet participant, talking and listening through her Blog which gave her much joy and pleasure and connected her to friends throughout the country. Her two cats will lose their greatest benefactor.

She would want to thank her dear friend Karla for years of friendship and help and to her ‘step mother’, Maureen, with whom she shared holidays.

She will be interred with her father and mother; details not yet finalized.

  1. To my dear ‘daughter’ Mary Michel, who silently suffered so much but who was such a joy to be with. Our holidays will miss you and your lively political discussion and cheerful banter.

May you rest in peace with your mom and dad.

  2. My Dear Mary, my Friend, my Confidant, my second mother, I am so glad I came into your life and got to live with you all those years, which gave you so much joy. I will miss our late night talks and as I promised you I stayed till the end. I will take care of your cats which I know what they meant to you. I admired your wisdom and your support towards women’s rights and black life matters and the Democratic Party. You stood for what was right. May you Rest In Peace. Love you and forever in my heart.

  3. Sharon BarrettMary, your online friends love and miss you. Rest in peace free from pain at last, sweet soul!
