McCorry, Mary Agnes 'Dixie' moved on to eternal peace Friday, October 23, 2009, in her Mission Viejo home surrounded by her family. Born in Chicago, Illinois in 1921, Mary lived a dynamic life that included assembling parachutes during WWII. After working for Time Life Inc. and holding various other positions while raising four children, the family moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1970, where Mary began a career in credit management for Montgomery Ward. She continued as Credit Manager with the company after relocating to Mission Viejo, California in 1976. Mary was a member of the Parish Council of Women for 30 years. After retirement in 1986, she devoted herself to volunteer work at Mission Hospital for 18 years, and enjoying her passion for bingo, cards and mah-jongg.

Mary will always be loved and remembered by Bob, her husband of 67 years, and by their four children, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A prayer vigil will be held at O'Connor Mortuary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29th, followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass on Friday, October 30th at St. Killian's Catholic Church.
