Mary ‘Popsy’ MacDonald

Mary ‘Popsy’ MacDonald Passed away on January 4th, 2005. She was born on May 2, 1920 in Vancouver, B.C. Canada and grew up in Antwerp Belgium.

Popsy was a volunteer at the San Clemente Animal Shelter for many years, where she adopted her constant companion, Phoebe – her border collie. She was a member of Las Buenas Amigas and a volunteer at their ‘coffee garden’ which was located in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Popsy so enjoyed her philanthropy work and the many friends she made during her long association with them.

Popsy is survived by her brother David Buster and his wife Leslie; three nephews David, Patrick and Peter and their spouses Annick, Martine and Gabi.

Popsy is rembered for her quick wit and zest for life. She touched the hearts of all who knew her.

We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Loussararian, her cardiologist and the staff of the Coumadin Club, Doctors Martirosyan, Chan, Tran, Chard and the dedicated nurses, clinical partners and support staff of Mission Hospital. We thank you for all the loving care you gave to our Popsy.

Popsy, we love you and will miss you. You’re forever on our minds and always in our hearts.
