Obituary
Mary Fay, 95, was born February 7, 1915 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and died peacefully May 11, 2010 in Irvine. She lived in Washington, DC until she and her husband, Art, moved to Laguna Woods in 1991. Art predeceased her in 1997. In 2003 she moved to Villa Valencia in Laguna Hills and enjoyed many of the social activities while there. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Eileen ‘Muff’ Pete Tennyson and four grandchildren, Mark Rita, Rachel, Matthew, and Erica. She is at rest now after living a full and well traveled life.
Since Mary was a 23 year survivor of breast cancer, the family is asking donations be made to the Be Aware Foundation, www.beawarefoundation.org, which provides education programs on early detection guidelines.

Dear Muff, Pete, Mark, Rita, Rachel, Matt and Erika,
Conrad and I so treasure the memories of the care and love your whole family continuously showed dear Mary Fay.
It was easy for Mary to be the life of the party when we first met her in the early 80s, fresh from the much more formal, Washington D.C. circuit. Mary quickly caught on though that California was a tad more laid back. All of you celebrated with her and Art wholeheartedly. Your enthusiasm for sharing with her never diminished, particularly when it became a highly planned process.
You are a memorable family. God bless you.
We will look forward to joining you to celebrate Mary’s life.
With our deepest sympathy,
