Mary Lu Morgan Fehrenbach was born in Santa Monica, California on August 29, 1941. Her parents Mary and Irvin Morgan raised their family in the hills of Topanga Canyon. Mary Lu was the youngest of three children. She was close to both her brothers, Robert and John Morgan.

After graduating from high school, Mary Lu began working as a secretary at the General Telephone Company. She found herself quickly working for the Vice President of company, much to the chagrin of some of her older female coworkers.

In June of 1961, while working at the telephone company, Mary Lu was set-up on a blind date with a coworker. Six months later, Mary Lu married Marvin Fehrenbach. The couple was married for 61 years.

Mary Lu had two children, her son Charlie and her daughter Carrie.

Mary Lu was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She served in a variety of callings, during her service in the church.

Mary Lu was known for her sense of humor, sarcastic wit and tenacity. She loved animals, especially dogs and often enjoyed conversing with them, more than their human counterparts.

Mary Lu is survived by her husband Marvin, her children Charlie (wife Anna) and Carrie, her grandchildren Jake (wife Olivia), Jessica, Micaela and Nick and her great grandchildren Charlotte (Little Charlie} and Luke.

Mary Lu will be greatly missed by her family. Through faith and determination, she faced many of life's trials, while still retaining her sense of humor. She will be remembered for her strength and her love for her family.
