Mary C. Ehman (Szymborski), age 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Mission Viejo, CA, on May 21, 2017. Born in South River, New Jersey on January 7, 1925, she lived most of her adult life in Garden Grove, CA. Mary was an OB and Maternity Care nurse for many years at Palm Harbor, Riverview, Fountain Valley and Chapman Hospitals. Mary was the local healthcare gatekeeper before healthcare became complex as she was always the first call for all the families in the neighborhood and coordinated eye and ear exams for all the schools her children attended.

Mary was married for 56 years to Arno E. Ehman who preceded her in death on April 5, 2010. She is survived by her son Richard Sabin of Mission Viejo, CA and his wife Deanna; her son Ralph Sabin of Seattle, WA and his wife Susan; her daughter JoAnne Sabin of Eagan, MN and her husband Don Smith; her grandchildren Heather, Jennifer, Mary, Brian, Thomas, Sara and Eric and her five great grandchildren.

A private service was held for Mary by her immediate family at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, CA on May 27, 2017.

Mary welcomed many new babies into this life. Now it’s time for God to welcome her to her new life with Him.
