Eagen
April 5, 1931 – March 13, 2017
Mary Anna Eagen (Gardner), a long-time resident of Lake Forest, California, died quietly at home on Sunday, March 12th at the age of 85. She was born in the Los Angeles area in 1931. She is survived by her four children, nine grandchildren, and only sister.
She spent her childhood in Santa Monica, attended Santa Monica City College, and earned a Bachelor degree from UCLA. She was married for 50 years to Jack Eagen and together they raised four children. Mary Anna lived her life with a quiet and unassuming demeanor. She liked to observe people and was a wonderful conversationalist. In addition, she liked working with (“directing”) her husband doing yard work at their home. She had a quirky sense of humor, and took great pleasure in chocolate in its many forms.
Mary Anna had a personal relationship with Jesus and is now in His presence along with her husband.
