A life well lived: Our Mother’s Journey Mary Evelyn de la Vega February 20, 1923 – January 14, 2015

Mary de la Vega, 91 years old, passed on peacefully at her home in San Clemente, Thursday, January 14th.

For almost 2 years she courageously dealt with bone cancer. Through her inner strength and unwavering faith she embraced each day as a gift.

She was known as a devoted and loving mother of her 2 daughters Alexis Brenner and Maria Christiansen, as well as a loving and proud grandmother of Chase, Steele, Liam and Jaden. Born in Kentucky, 1 of 6 children, she is survived by her youngest brother Ralph Mosley.

Mary will be remembered for her crystal blue eyes, love of family and friends and her devotion to her four-legged companions. Forever she will be in our hearts and we will carry the amazing memories of her life lived well.
