Obituary

Mary Arlita Barnes 

Arlita was born on May 30, 1932 in Hornell, NY. She is the daughter of John L. and Helen (Kelleher) Johnson. Arlita spent much of her childhood in Almond, NY. She died on March 5. Her home was in Aliso Viejo, CA.

She graduated from Alfred-Almond High School and Federal Commercial College. She married Jack Barnes on December 18, 1954. Her career was as the Head of Human Resources. She moved to California in 1979 from New Milford, Connecticut. She was very involved in the Catholic Church as a volunteer for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Roger, Leo, and Butch.

She is survived by her daughters Michele and Jacqueline; grandson Bradford; sister Patricia; brother Gene; and several nieces and nephews.
