In Loving Memory of Martin Laurence Vukich
Martin Laurence Vukich, 92, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026.
A hardworking and dedicated man, he spent his professional life in the aerospace industry, finally retiring at the remarkable age of 80. He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
He had a lifelong love of the mountains, especially those surrounding his hometown of Tehachapi, California. Whether hunting, enjoying the outdoors, or simply spending time with family and friends, the mountains always held a special place in his heart.
An avid golfer, he particularly enjoyed playing at Mission Viejo Country Club, his home course, where he shared countless rounds and friendships over the years.
Above all, he treasured the people in his life. Family, friendships, and the memories made together were an important part of who he was.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol, and daughter, Jill. He is survived by his daughter, Dawn; his sister Carol, his nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend whom he lovingly considered his adopted granddaughter.
He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, but the memories of a life well lived will remain in their hearts.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Episcopal Church, 27802 El Lazo, Laguna Niguel, California. A reception will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Mission Viejo Country Club, 26200 Country Club Drive, Mission Viejo, California.
